Introduction

The Child Care Claims program is a web portal that allows child care programs in Alberta to directly submit their monthly claim for Child care subsidy, funding, family day home administration fees, transaction fees and associated funding payments. The Child Care Claims web portal is owned and operated by Children's Services.

This Terms of Use governs all use, content and services available through the Child Care Claims Program. By using the child care claims software and accessing the web portal you are agreeing to be bound by the terms and condition in the Terms of Use agreement. Please read it carefully. You must sign a User Agreement before accessing or using this software.

Privacy

The Government of Alberta is committed to protecting the privacy and the confidentiality of all personal information collected on this website.

Personal information is any information that identifies you as an individual. It includes information that you provide through this web portal or details that Alberta Children's Services has collected through other sources. Some examples of personal information are name, birth date, or unique identification number.

The collection, use, disclosure and handling of your personal information is authorized and protected by the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) and other provincial legislation. Alberta Children's Services does not collect, use or disclose any personal information that is not in accordance with FOIP. Only information that is directly related to and necessary for operating the Ministry’s programs and services is collected.

Username and Password

To protect your account from unauthorized use, each user is issued a unique username and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password.

Do not share your password with others. You will be required to sign a User Agreement in order to receive a username and password to access the Child Care Claims Online System(C3P System). This user agreement sets out specific user responsibilities for accessing the C3P System web portal.

Please immediately notify Alberta Children's Services, Child Care Claims unit at 1-855-638-6121 if any unauthorized use of your username or password has occurred. Alberta Children's Services is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or otherwise disclosed passwords or damages or any other actions that may result from unauthorized access.

Copyright and Limitation of Use

This web portal is being provided for the specific purposes of the administration of the Child Care Claims Program System for authorized users. Any information, software or products contained on this website may not be used, downloaded and printed for any other purpose, in whole or part.

By using this web portal you agree not to use the data obtained from the website for solicitations, or as part of a commercial product, or service. You also agree not to use the data in a manner which could be reasonably expected to offend a person for whom the data is relevant.

Disclaimer

Alberta Children's Services makes every effort to ensure that information on the Child Care Claims Program System is kept up to date and accurate. However, there is no guarantee that the service provided through this web portal will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects, if any, will be corrected, or that this web portal is free of viruses or other harmful components.

Alberta Children's Services, its agents, employees or contractors will not be held liable to you for any damages, direct or indirect, or lost profits or data resulting from your use of information provided at this site, or any other site that can be accessed from this site.

Users of this site are responsible for the accuracy of the information that they input into this site. If you need to make changes or correction to a recent claim that you have submitted please complete a paper copy of the Claims Adjustment Form to the Child Care Claims office.
